Converting a BMW 3 series (E90) to electric.

The idea for this project came after buying and repairing an older electric minivan. I ended up using it for almost 4 years, but it wasn't very reliable and left me stranded more than I’d like to admit.

It's range and performance was very minimal as it's design dates back to 2007! 
This made me want to build a much better electric car with the experience I gained from that project. 

As with all of my projects, I’ve always tried to keep things on a small budget. However this makes the requirement of a long range high performance electric car especially difficult.
